May the 4th Be With You…

May the 4th Be With… Gusano Junito?

At Juno’s Liquor, we’ve always believed every great tequila has a story — but our bottle’s tiny legend has grown into a full‑blown saga. Gusano Junito, the brave little worm who lives in our favorite mezcal‑kissed tequila, who most folks think he’s just along for the ride, but the truth is far more epic.

Junito comes from a long line of heroic gusanos. His good brother, Gusano Benito, is a guardian of flavor — a noble spirit‑worm who watches over the agave fields, ensuring every bottle carries the soul of Jalisco with pride. Benito stands for balance, tradition, and the light side of the agave.  He’s always been with the Republic from day one.

But every legend has a shadow.

Enter Gusano Malvado, the brother who chose the Empire’s side. Rumor has it he traded his earthy sweetness for the cold glow of power, drifting through the galaxy in search of bottles to corrupt. While Benito protects the craft, Malvado tempts drinkers toward the dark side — the side where mixers are cheap, ice is cloudy, and tequila shots come with training wheels.

So today, on May the 4th, we raise a glass to the eternal battle between good taste and bad decisions. Between Benito and Malvado. Between the Light Side of the Lime and the Dark Side of the Salt.

And standing right in the middle of it all is Gusano Junito — our humble hero, our tiny traveler, our fearless flavor‑keeper.

From all of us at Juno’s Liquor, may your pours be smooth, your choices be wise, and…

May the 4th be with you.
