The Last Drop Distillers was founded by two icons of the spirits industry, Tom Jago and James Espey with over 80 years of experience between them. Their aim was to curate the world’s most remarkable spirits by finding treasures across aged spirit categories and sharing them with those who seek the genuinely extraordinary.

This passion for exploration and discovery continues to guide The Last Drop. While the founding families have since stepped back, their legacy lives on in every bottle. They promise not just rarity, but an inimitable journey into the extraordinary – a finite experience that can never be replicated, staying true to the vision of those who dared to dream it into existence. The Last Drop remains driven by integrity, and each release is a celebration of craft, character, and time.

Since the company was founded in 2008, The Last Drop Distillers has released just 42 limited bottlings across Scotch Whisky, Cognac, Tequila, Bourbon and Rum, Japanese Whisky and Irish Whiskey, as well as aged Ports and Pineau des Charentes, comprising fewer than 15,600 to date. Seeking nothing less than the remarkable in the spirits they curate, the company’s unwavering commitment is to the quality of the liquid and the pleasure of sharing the treasures they uncover.

The Last Drop’s mission of curation is carried forward by The Assembly — an exceptional collective of master distillers, blenders, and creators from across the world of fine spirits. This 27‑year Kentucky Straight Bourbon is one of the rarest American releases ever selected by The Last Drop. Decades of aging in Kentucky’s intense climate concentrated the whiskey into a deep, complex spirit layered with oak, dark caramel, and tobacco. Only a handful of barrels survived the long maturation, making each bottle a relic of a bourbon era that can never be recreated. It stands as one of the most coveted bourbons now available at Juno’s Liquor Las Colinas.

Distilled in 2000 and aged for more than two decades in tropical heat, this rum showcases the intensity that only long, hot‑climate maturation can deliver.
