A Short Hero Story by Gusano Junito
“Gusano Junito Saves July” — A Short Hero Story
July in Texas was melting everything — sidewalks, flip‑flops, even people’s patience. The heat got so bad that the city declared a State of Extreme Thirst, and that’s when trouble hit: a giant, sun‑powered villain called El Calor Supremo rose over DFW, blasting everyone with waves of blistering heat.
While Texans panicked and fans exploded across Fort Worth, one hero stepped forward…
Gusano Junito.
Armed with his legendary superpower — La Refrescación, the ability to summon perfectly chilled tequila from thin air — Junito slithered into action. With a heroic leap (well… as heroic as a worm can leap), he launched himself toward El Calor Supremo.
The villain roared, “YOU CANNOT STOP THE JULY HEAT!”
Junito just twirled his mustache and said, “Watch me, compadre.”
He unleashed a blast of icy‑cold tequila mist, instantly cooling the air and shocking the villain. The people cheered as Junito whipped out a glowing bottle of Juno’s Liquor’s finest blanco and used it like a freeze ray, trapping El Calor Supremo in a block of citrus‑scented ice.
Texas was saved. The thirst was quenched. And July officially became…
TEQUILA MONTH.
And every bottle sold at Juno’s Liquor that week carried a tiny label that read: “Protected by Gusano Junito — Hero of the Heat.”
